Attendees: Neal Groothuis, Kathy Plinske, Doug Pratt, Paul Strasma, Charlie Ballowe, Ande Croll, Julia Sibley, Kelly Baluta, Jason Orloff

Meeting called to order at 1:06 P.M.

Based on positive vote of cabinet officers, Paul Strasma is an appointed member of the Cabinet.

Discussion of survey. Resolved that cabinet members should send Paul feedback on survey items within the next week. Resolved that we would spend $50 on gift certificates for a drawing for people who respond to survey.

Doug reported on reunions. Noted that we may wish to solicit questions about what people would like at their next reunions.

Jason and Charlie spoke about Lumen.

Kelly gave final numbers for giving: $1,094.34 to IAA. Note: this is lower than previous years because this only includes IAA-directed giving, as opposed to prior years where any monies donated by alumni were given to the IAA. Participation as of alumni day: 235 donors, 7.5% giving rate.

Kelly spoke about plans for the budget. Possibility of consolidating funds. Need for auditing allocations of funds.

myIMSA discussion. myIMSA is presently in “soft launch”. Neal will find out about timeframe for hard launch from Advancement.

Took a few volunteers for move-in day. Doug volunteered to help organize move-in days but will not be on-site. Jason will coordinate on-site on Thursday. Ande will coordinate on Saturday.

Doug moves that we meet on a monthly basis with a calendar prepared for the year for planning purposes and reports should be presented 48 hours ahead of time to facilitate having more effective meetings. Paul seconded. Unanimous “aye” vote.

Ande will put together proposal for meeting times to try to include everyone. Let Ande know via email what times weekday evenings you would be unavailable.

Neal will cancel contract with ICN for bandwidth for alumni cluster.

Meeting was adjourned at 2:34 P.M.
