Dr. Gretchen E. Green '92 Joins National Women's History Museum Board
Gretchen E. Green, MD, MMS '92 recently joined the National Women's History Museum Board of Directors. Currently an attending radiologist at Greensboro Radiology, PA, Green has been "actively involved in advococy for women physicians and patients since 1992." Christopher Stovall '10 Helps Launch Boeing Scholars Program at IIT
Christopher Stovall '10, a sophomore at IIT studying aerospace engineering, helped launch the new Boeing Scholars Program this year. Dan Vuksanovich '93 Merges Music, Information Technology and Problem Solving
After receiving his MBA in 2010, Dan Vuksanovich '93 decided to perform a strategic "resources and capabilities" exercise, identifying a unique combination of expertise: music, information technology and problem solving. As a result, he founded WhyISuckAtGuitar.com. "Despite the fact that I've had many, many years of formal musical education focusing on the guitar, the instrument has always been a struggle for me, and I set out to understand why by using the problem solving skills I'd developed as an IT consultant." Dan shares the results of his "self-troubleshooting" on the site as lessons and blog articles. According to Dan, the site is "vastly different from other sites offering guitar lessons...I'm using myself as a musical guinea pig and letting everyone in on the experiments."
